COVID-19 and WIC

You depend on WIC. And we’re here for you!

WIC—protecting you
and your family

Our WIC centers are closed to the public. Please do NOT visit any of our WIC centers. This will keep you and our WIC team safe.

We are continuing to provide important services to WIC families by phone and online.

What safety steps is WIC taking?

You will probably not be asked to visit your WIC center. But if you are, please know that your family’s health and safety are very important to us.

We are following the advice of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, also known as the CDC.

We are:

  • Washing hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
  • Using hand sanitizer.
  • Wearing face coverings.
  • Staying at home if sick.
  • Staying at least 6 feet away from other WIC team members and from WIC participants
  • Cleaning commonly used objects and surfaces before and after we use them. We do this each time.

Please help us

If our WIC team members ask you to visit your WIC center, please follow their instructions. They will give you directions about social distancing and other safety measures.

This plan has been posted at each WIC center to notify our families and the general public.
